We empower government entities, law enforcement agencies, and K-12 school districts to actively participate on social networking channels by ensuring they can fulfill legal requirements and avoid lawsuits. Our software-as-a-service solution is trusted by more than 2,500 organizations including New York City, the State of North Carolina, and the United States Department of Justice. In 2017 we collaborated with the White House to launch the first archive of presidential social media in history (for the outgoing Obama administration).

Our office is located in the heart of Downtown Durham, NC, walking distance from the Durham Performing Arts Center, Durham Bulls Athletic Stadium, American Tobacco Campus, the American Underground (a Google for Entrepreneurs Tech Hub), and some of the best food in the Southeast. As American Underground alumni, we retain many privileges of membership, including access to their facilities (including a beautiful rooftop deck!) and the invitation to attend happy hours and other social events for unparalleled access to the vibrant Durham entrepreneur scene.

We are actively looking for proven sales professionals to help us further fulfill our mission of empowering and protecting open dialogue. The Account Executive role is responsible for new client acquisition, and is fully supported in their pipeline generation through a high performing sales development organization and marketing demand engine.

What does an Account Executive do?

As an Account Executive for ArchiveSocial, you’ll be leveraging your sales skills and experience while:

  • Educating potential new clients on the best practices for compliant social media use in the public sector
  • Conveying value through a consultative sales process
  • Navigating procurement processes to secure new business
  • Collaborating cross departmentally to provide market, product, and process feedback
  • Contributing to our positive, high energy sales organization

 

What are we looking for?

  • High performers with at least 1 year of quota-carrying inside sales experience
  • Experience and comfort managing a pipeline and sales process within a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Attention to detail, high level of accountability, and hungry to learn
  • Individuals that bring new perspectives, unique identities, and life experiences to our team
