Keeping the Peace on Social Media: Lima Police Department

The Lima, OH Police Department discussed how automated archiving can help agencies enforce social media policies and provide valuable information to officers investigating crimes. Lt. Andy Green shared his experience of using social media in law enforcement and how it has benefitted his department and community.  He also provided a front line perspective on the issue of deleting content to maintain a productive online community while being mindful of First Amendment rights.
