Anil Chawla, the founder and CEO of ArchiveSocial, had the chance to guest lecture at San Jose State University last week concerning social media records management and archiving. Presenting at San Jose State University’s School of Library and Information Science, Chawla comprehensively explored the challenges as well as the motivations behind keeping records of social media activity. He detailed how organizations confront a variety of obstacles unique to social media as well as organizations’ attempts to address these challenges in compliance with recordkeeping laws.
